Now the fun begins! The actual process of creating your web site will be the most enjoyable. Seeing your vision become reality is a great rush and PhotoImpact makes it easy. This section is really the meat and potatoes of the Web Shop.We will be creating a three page web site, complete with script effects and only using PhotoImpact.

Our Purpose: to introduce new users, and old users who may not have explored this aspect of PhotoImpact, to the web design tools.

Requirements: basic knowledge of PhotoImpact 7 or 8; users should be familiar with the PhotoImpact workspace as well as the Path, Transform and Pick tools, Easy Pallet and the Text tool. Grouping and Alignment are used quite a bit also.

Preparation: to get the most out of this tutorial, it's recommend that you set up a folder on your hard drive to store your projects as you work through this. The tutorial will reference a folder called My Site Files. You should create this folder before starting, and save your projects into this folder as .ufo's for use later.

To complete the tutorial with the same results, you will need to download a Zip file containing a few images. This Zip also contains two objects created in the Component Designer that you may or may not have in your collection. Download the Zip file here, and unzip it into the My Site Files folder.

This tutorial is not short (22 pages!), and is not intended to be completed in one session. Work at your own pace and be sure to save your work before taking a break or quitting for the day.

If you have questions or get stuck at any point, please feel free to post them in the Web Shop forum. There is a thread set up specifically for this tutorial and I'll answer your questions as soon as possible.

Most of all, enjoy!
