Using Web Templates

The easiest way to create a web page in PI is through the use of templates. Web page templates can be found in the Easy Pallet's Object Library inside the Template Library folder.

The templates are very easy to use and simply involve picking the template you like and dragging it to the workspace.

Everything on the template is treated as a single object. You simply replace the information you don't want with information of your own.

You can change anything on the template, including backgrounds, buttons, text and links. When you are happy with your results, you can save the template as a ready to use web page, or as a .ufo for use at another time.

Templates are great if you are stuck for design ideas, or just to play with and study. However, nothing beats the feeling of seeing your web page and knowing you did it all on your own. Give a template a try at your leisure, but for now, let's get to work on something almost uniquely yours.
