Working on a web page in PI is just like working with
a new image. All of PI's tools are available to us and there are a few
tools specifically designed for working with web pages. Most notably,
we have a Web Menu.
The Web Menu contains most of the
tools and functions used in working with web pages in PI. We'll
explore most of these throughout these lessons as we complete
our first web page.
The grayed out tools on the menu at right and the Background
Designer won't be covered in this site, with the exception of
the Rollover tool. These tools are used for advanced situations
and we won't be using them. The Background Designer is fun to
play with so explore and enjoy.
One tool on this menu that we will get into in a bit is the
Web Properties. For now, just know where it is for future reference. |

A couple tools not located on the Web menu can be found
on the tool panel which runs down the left side of your PI workspace.
These are the Slice and Image Map tools to be discussed a little later.

As mentioned earlier, the Web Properties tool is something
worthy of a closer look as it plays a big part of your page design in
PI. So let's take a look shall we?
