The first step to setting up your home on the Web is planning. What is my sites purpose? How will my site look? How many pages will I need? These are just a few questions to ask yourself. A good plan will only make the task of creating a web page more enjoyable.

If you are a first timer, start with something simple. Perhaps a one page design to show off pets, family or the great artwork you have created in PhotoImpact. Note these things down on paper for future reference and keep them by you when starting your site. You may want to sketch out a rough draft on paper of what your site will look like.

This section doesn't contain any particular tutorials, but it is loaded with good, solid information that should be read before starting your site.
